Highgate Pre-Prep is for students aged 2 to 7, from Early Years to Year 2.
OUR LEARNING APPROACH
At Highgate International School Thailand, we will take a creative and reflective approach to education, focusing on how your child will learn, not just what they will learn. Through immersion in project-based learning, we will empower students to develop resilience, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility, qualities that will serve them well as both learners and active members of the Highgate Thailand community and the wider society. Early Years Curriculum
At Highgate Thailand, we will offer three Reception classes, each led by a dedicated class teacher and a qualified teaching assistant. This ensures that every child receives the personalised care and attention they need to thrive. Our curriculum will follow the Statutory Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), specifically designed to support your child’s growth and development in seven key areas, providing a solid foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

- Understanding the world
- Expressive arts and design
Year 1 and 2 Curriculum
Our Year 1 and Year 2 curriculum will build on the academic excellence and innovative teaching methods established by Highgate School UK, following the English National Curriculum. Designed to extend students academically, the curricula will also ignite creativity, develop critical thinking skills, and inspire a lifelong passion for learning.
Through engaging, hands-on activities and a balanced approach to independent and collaborative learning, students will gain the confidence, adaptability, and skills they need to excel academically and thrive in an ever-changing world.
Our Pre-Prep Teachers
Our Pre-Prep teaching staff will be meticulously selected to provide an exceptional foundation for our youngest learners. Each class will be led by a UK qualified teacher, carefully chosen for their expertise, passion, and ability to nurture and inspire young minds.
With intentionally small class sizes, teachers will have the opportunity to provide personalised attention, fostering each child’s confidence, curiosity, and love of learning. Every class will also benefit from an assistant teacher fluent in both Thai and English, ensuring seamless support for students learning English as an additional language.
This thoughtful approach will create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is understood, valued, and encouraged to thrive, establishing a strong foundation for their future academic and personal success.
