We are committed to providing students with a dynamic extracurricular programme that offers opportunities to explore their passions, develop new skills, and grow beyond the classroom. Designed to build confidence, creativity, and leadership, these activities will help students thrive both academically and personally.
The programme will feature creative arts such as music, drama, and art, alongside a variety of sports and innovative clubs tailored to students’ interests. Each week, students will take part in at least one activity, ensuring a balance between academic achievement and personal development.
With expert staff and excellent facilities, our evolving extracurricular offerings will inspire students to embrace future challenges and opportunities whilst enjoying every step of their educational journey.
English as an Additional Language (EAL) Support
At Highgate International School Thailand, younger students who will be learning English as an additional language will receive caring and tailored support to help them grow both academically and socially. Our EAL programme will be designed to gently build their confidence, ensuring they feel happy and included in every part of school life.
Experienced EAL staff will provide age-appropriate guidance through engaging small group or one-to-one sessions, helping students develop essential language skills in a supportive environment. The programme will focus on fostering communication, understanding, and participation, while helping students settle comfortably into their new surroundings.
Pastoral Care
At Highgate International School Thailand, pastoral care will be central to everything we do, ensuring the wellbeing of our students is prioritised in every aspect of school life.
Each student will be supported by a dedicated form teacher, who will act as their first point of contact for guidance and care. This personalised approach will be further strengthened by a team of experienced staff committed to fostering a positive, nurturing environment where students feel valued and understood.
Through proactive and compassionate support, we will help our junior students develop the resilience, confidence, and social skills they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Parents can feel reassured that their child’s wellbeing will always be at the heart of our school.
Parent Support
We value the essential role parents play in their child’s education and are committed to building a strong partnership that ensures students flourish both academically and personally.
Teachers will carefully monitor each student’s progress, providing regular, detailed updates to celebrate achievements and identify areas for growth. These reports, accessible through our secure parent portal, offer parents convenient access to key information at any time.
Termly consultation meetings provide an opportunity to connect directly with teachers, celebrate progress and work together to support your child’s success. Parents will also be invited to informal coffee mornings with our leadership team and have opportunities to see learning in practice. This collaborative approach keeps parents informed, reassured, and fully involved throughout their child’s educational journey, creating a strong foundation for their future.
